Naga Puja with Rahu and Ketu: Kashyapa Muni , son of Lord Brahma Dev, the creator had four consorts and therefore the third wife was Kadru who belonged to the Naga race of the Pitru Loka and she gave birth to the Nagas. Nāgas are very powerful, brilliant , shining and captivating. They can manifest in different forms.In physical form either as human, partial human-serpent or the entire serpent. Their domain is within the underworld, the underground realm crammed with gems, gold and other earthly treasures called Naga loka or Patala loka.On the Nag Panchami day cobras, and snakes are worshiped with milk, sweets, flowers, lamps and even homams.
